So the other day I was driving home is heavy traffic and a thought crossed my mind. Building your Network Marketing business is very similar to the afternoon commute, follow me on this one.
Can you picture the people who zip from lane to lane trying to get those few inches ahead of everyone else? They seem to be ahead of you the whole time while they constantly change lanes but something very interesting happens. Your lane begins to move a little quicker. You being to get closer and closer…you can read the numbers on his license plate now. And eventually you pass him up. Very similar to the tortuous and the hare.
Now put you and your Network Marketing business in here for a second. You business may start off slow, frustration occurs and you find yourself wanting to quit. DON’t! Keeping along the “slow” path will get you where you need to go…sometimes quicker than the people who have a quick start.
Don’t compare your business with others’ business. Your business is your business. One quote I heard a while back that will stay with me was “It doesn’t matter how much they make, you can’t spend it.”
The next time you think your business is failing and you start getting discouraged just remember “slow and steady wins the race.”
